J.R. Quigley Plant, Gloucester City, New JerseySeth Hinshaw, 6/3/2019 Recently I stopped to see the Quigley offices in Gloucester City, New Jersey. This company had an interesting history, and I included a short overview of the company in my book A Field Guide to American Residential Doors. The original plant was built in 1888, then rebuilt in 1929. The new plant was shown in the 1934 catalog: Since that time, the trees in front of the building obscure the building. After Quigley went out of business in the 1950s, the building was purchased for use by a religious organization.
